- Currently I am Pastor of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Rochester Hills. My wife, Cheryl, and I have been married since 1980. We have one daughter and a son-in-law, Michelle and Bob, who live in Chicago. I have a variety of interests both in and outside the church. My greatest passion, however, is sharing and supporting people to growth in the amazing grace of Jesus Christ. All I do in the church--motivating, leading, teaching, reflecting and praying--is directed toward that end. I am also passionately interested in missions. I serve on the mission committee for St. Paul, Pontiac, Michigan mission. I also share my musical skills by teaching guitar lessons to the LATINO Hispanic Mission in Detroit's Mexicantown. I also try to keep up with technology to promote spiritual growth and outreach for the Kingdom of God. One example is www.smallcatechism.org. Whenever I have a chance, I like to get 9 or 18 holes of golf in during the slower time in Michigan summers.
